“I always try to isolate as many details as I can from the final image I want to create, like that I able to get to a more accurate representation of the image in my head. For the most part, I work indoors mostly using a plain black background, but on occasions, I choose to work outdoors, and even in these cases, I look for a uniform background like a bush, tree, or the sky.
For me, the essential element to transmit my ideas is the use of color and the placement of the chosen prop. I am a highly positive person, so I always try to add that finishing touch to all my images, giving the ultimate message of positivity, high energy, and personal growth”.

“These two series include the same elements. I share feelings playing with a human figure (myself), botanical elements (plants and flowers), and the use of selected colors.”
Fares Micue is a self-taught fine art/conceptual Spanish photographer. She started photography as a hobby back in 2009 after discovering the photography site Flickr.
Little by little, that hobby started to take more and more of her time until she realizes almost six years later that what has started as just an entertainment was now her biggest passion, and she wanted to use her images to transmit and share stories and lessons.
As a self-portrait photographer, she uses her perception of reality as well as her thoughts to create stories in each one of her images.
Her work is characterized for the use of simple backgrounds and saturated colors as well as the use of characteristic props like balloons and botanical elements (flowers, leaves, trees, etc.),
Her images have a very strong conceptual element in them, and she uses the power of colors to express her ideas further.
FLOWER GIRLS. In this series, the girls in the images are surrounded by flowers to express different feelings like love, sadness, personal growth, or conformity in a very aesthetic, simple, and elegant way, been the biggest role of the flower and leaves placement and color pallet.
