ORI GALON
Ori Galon,Born in Tel Aviv, grew to know a city that truly never sleeps, called at that time “The White City “.
Tel Aviv was a thriving center of art, architecture and theater.
His first guided art gallery tour was at the age of 4, led by his mother, whose passion for art taught him to love and appreciate it himself in any shape and form.
By the age of 14 Ori left his parent›s home and headed to agriculture school to be close to Nature. It was at that adolescent age that he got his first reflex camera and began exploring the surroundings.
Ori was learning painting, photography, sculpting, design, and video art, at a number of schools and workshops. It is without shame that he says he did not graduate from any of them. Life was the best school he ever had.
Ori developed a photography method with a Polaroid camera while living in London, England. It suits his passion to touch and feel the material that he works with, by manipulating the surface of a Polaroid film with his hands and some sculpting tools, until he gets the desired results.
