“I only use one Canon Speed Flash to take all my photos with an 85mm Sigma lens. First of all, I consider it as a good combination with the desired format of Photography, the frame and composition match the subject of my Photo. I use simple objects and focus on the figure, and try to get the best out of it. For example, I built a studio in the corner of my kitchen, not from these professional studios, but a simple studio without facilities.

I made the studio so dark, and inside there’s only a window to let the natural light come into the studio. This light is very useful to me, especially in portrait shooting. I adjust the camera’s flash speed so that it blends in with the natural light to create the best light inside the lens aperture.
In this photo collection, I have used only a few green leaves and red flowers. I tried to reach a suitable frame and composition for photographic space. I choose the Photo background so that it’s related to the figure and the title in the best way possible.”

“I write stories about my shots before the shooting sessions, only as I have the clarity and the image in my mind, I approach the shooting. Not to mention that I edit my pictures with my phone because I don’t have a laptop and editing programs. The restrictions do not, and will not stop my work.”

“This collection of photographs expresses a bitter but audible truth. We are facing many serious problems in Afghanistan, like suicide, terrorist attacks, and kidnappings. This process has depressed and frustrated our children; Women and children are permanently out of school in most parts of the country. They have no choice but to be uneducated.
In this collection, I have tried to express the kindness, the humanity of children and women. In the time that most of the world’s population is in quarantine, I took the opportunity. I would like to raise awareness and create a better understanding of our situation. People around the world must be aware of our conditions here. Because we are always in quarantine… We want freedom without imprisonment.”
