The urban area symbolize the diversity in humanity, through the presence and absence of people.
I find myself attracted both to the wide and vast scenery of the crowded streets and also dark sideways, all the way to abandoned places left for nature to reclaim.
I feel much more frightened from the total annihilation of nature caused by our ongoing pursuit for progress, than my optimizem for a brighter future where urbanizing does not necessarily mean concrete and metal.
For me, the ongoing battle of humans with nature is at end. For the better or worse.
We can find a better way to urbanize through harmony with nature or we can destroy it completely.
My personal wish to see more sparks of hope in the likes of harmony between man and nature.
