Hello Alex, It’s an honor to Interview such an excellent photographer with so much experience, Please introduce yourself to our readers
I was born in Tel Aviv in 1944. At the age of 24, After getting a degree in philosophy and psychology, from TLV University, I left Israel for the first time, for what I thought would be a short trip. In fact, I stayed away for 14 years.
How did you get started in your profession? Was it a coincidence or you studied photography?
I studied Photography in The London College of Printing in London. , Finished my studies there in 1971. Until 1982 I worked as a freelance photographer in various countries: Brazil, France, the U.S and England. I settled back in Israel in 1982 and worked as a photographer doing a big variety of works, mainly as photojournalist.
