This series showcases different studio productions. We see colorful fashion emphasized amidst lush greenery, a clear and minimalistic environment, snow-covered peaks, and surrealistic desert scenes.
2b+photo (Tobias Meier) is known for his set design and complex, large scale productions that balance complexity with fine art. For “A New Perspective,” Tobias created within his studio a box/room as the main stage, which created shape to the rooms/perspectives. Additional set elements were developed and utilized to convey an absence of gravity.
Tobias worked out the camera positions and lit the model to achieve the impression of her placed on the ceiling, balancing in a tilted room, etc.
To support the correct gravity, it was essential to work closely with the team to address the correct styling, hairstyles, and jewelry selections.

a surrealist and pop-art feel. His work is detailed and colorful, communicating brand aesthetics through highly stylized photography, ultimately balancing between complexity and fine art.
His portfolio features international designers, including designers, regularly featured at Paris Fashion Week. 2b+photo editorials have gained over 50 global fashion photography awards worldwide, including Paris, London, Tokyo, Moscow, and New York. Tobias has a background in visual effects for feature films (lighting and matte painting), as well as a Masters Degree in Art from the University of Portsmouth. He is based between Vancouver and Paris.
No-Made
“No-Made” features the Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection by Haute Couture fashion designer Antonio Ortega. To showcase the collection in an Arctic atmosphere, a very complex set was built. It included snow, different backdrops, and an elaborate ice cave as the main feature. The model was given intense smokey eyes, a very pale complexion, and pale lips to illustrate a character unfazed by cold temperatures. Nomadic hairstyle selections round out the model’s look.
