Amir levy, 1981, was born and raised in Jerusalem.
He started taking photos as a hobby on a long trip to south and central America. Out of his special interest and attraction to human rights, social and cultural issues, he turned his hobby into a profession.
Amir graduated one the most esteemed photography schools in israel. After his graduation, he started his route as a young news photographer for “ynet”- Israel’s leading news website and for “Yediot Tel-Aviv” newspaper.
Today, amir levy works as a freelance photojournalist, working with worldwide published magazines and international agencies in Israel and abroad.
Amir currently lives in
Tel-Aviv and is happily married with two children.
