I originally shot anything that interested me. I am drawn in by the simplicity of nature that creates a challenge into
a little frame. However, Monochrome and fine art remain as my soft corner.
I started with people photography but slowly moved into the landscape after I moved to Oman. Being a keen lover of outdoors and travel throughout Oman, I am indeed influenced by its beauty of natural formation from Mountain to Desert to Ocean. And of course, Sand Dunes, with its different pattern, texture, and structure, influenced me more.

I capture the present as much as possible, which passes by every moment. I explore the opportunity to make a unique frame out of nothing that challenges me to do better—trying and looking at subjects from different angles. In contrast, I probably don’t want to be known as the photographer who always takes photos of standard frames.
Now lets elaborate on why chosen black and white here to support my above statement.
I feel Black and White is a beautiful, semi-abstract, expressive, and timeless way of capturing the landscape. Something magical about Black and white photography, the timeless beauty of the photos, the emotion that they bring, the different lighting contrasts that bring to life here.

I believe sharp Black and White images rely on the basics of composition, like texture, line, shape, pattern, form, placement, and negative space. Of course, color has its own space and appeal, but somehow I am closer to Black and white.
I believe that Working with Black and white, possibly helping me to improve my seeing and compositional skills. It gives me a different way of seeing the world. Instead of looking at the color of the scene and the color of the light, I am trying to look at texture, shape, line, and the play of light and shadow.
Even I love to capture travel photos or color, but here I tried to share a few simple landscapes or nature clicks, which may create some appeal to viewers with its drama and art formation.

Currently based in Oman but originally from Kolkata, India.
My travel mostly comes from the love of nature and landscape. However, I’m particularly drawn to shapes, patterns, and texture of nature and to the view changes, which are evolving every day.
I’m looking for the stories of beauty in unique art form, challenging environments, and those who live in a close bond with nature. I started my photography journey in 2012, along with my hospitality profession. Even now, I see myself as an emerging photographer but started to think seriously about photography in a professional manner since 2013, while I got some national and international recognition for my passion of traveling photography.
Not restricted to any specific genre, but my heart goes for Monochrome.
I Love the simplicity of nature and its challenges, which makes me want to bring out some art formation out of
a very common scenario.
